Covid-19 has dramatically affected the global landscape of higher education. With online learning as the primary mode of delivery,  how can students, faculty, and higher education administrators adapt to this "new normal"? In the long-term, COVID-19 will undeniably pose unprecedented challenges to the entire higher education community.

In this episode of ExpertsConnect, we had a conversation concerning the implications of Covid-19 on higher education with Ms. Zia Jones, PeopleSoft Consultant, and CEO of Ocean Bright Consulting.

Our discussion topics were centered around the implications of Covid-19 on the following in higher education.

  1. Online learning during and post the pandemic.
  2. Research & Development.
  3. Student learning outcomes.
  4. Education inequality and the steps we can take to bridge this gap. To learn more, you may refer to Zia's article on how higher education institutions can support students in the pandemic here.
