Set prices, discount codes and sales

Charge for your content, hand out discount codes, and run time-limited sales.

Set a price

Every course, live class and shop product has a Pricing tab.

  1. Choose Free or Paid. Courses can be either. Live classes and shop products are always paid.
  2. For paid content, pick the Currency (USD or EUR) and enter the Price.
  3. Press Save price.

The tab shows what learners will pay. You can press Change price at any time; people who already paid keep their access.

Only you and collaborators with full access can change prices. See Work with collaborators and personas.

Hand out discount codes

Discount codes are for people you choose: your newsletter, a partner school, or the first learners of a new course. Learners enter the code when they enroll or buy.

  1. Open the Pricing tab and scroll to Discount codes.
  2. Fill in:
  • Code: 3 to 24 letters, digits or dashes, for example LAUNCH20.
  • Discount: the percentage off, from 1 to 100. A 100% code lets people in for free.
  • Number of uses (optional): leave it empty for no limit.
  • Last day (optional): the code works until the end of that day. Leave it empty to keep it open.
  1. Press Add code.

Switch a code off to stop it working, and on again to bring it back. You can keep up to 25 codes per item.

Card payments must be at least 0.50 in the item's currency. A code that would bring the price below that, without making it free, can't be used.

Run a sale

A promotion puts your paid content on sale for a limited time, without a code. Buyers see the original price struck through next to the sale price.

  1. Open Promotions and press New promotion.
  2. Fill in:
  • Name: for you, for example "Black Friday 2026".
  • Label: what buyers see next to the price, for example "Black Friday".
  • Run as: your own name or one of your personas. The sale only covers what you published under that name.
  • Discount: from 5% to 90% off.
  • Starts and Ends: a sale can run for up to 90 days.
  • Applies to: all your paid courses, live classes and shop products, or Items I pick.
  • Only in these spaces (optional): limit the sale to items in some spaces.
  1. Save it. It shows as Scheduled until it starts, then Running, then Ended.

You can have up to 10 promotions that haven't ended yet.

Good to know
  • Once a sale has started, its discount and items are fixed, so buyers pay the price they were shown. You can still change its name, label and end, or switch it off.
  • Discounts don't add up. If an item is in several sales, the biggest discount counts. If a buyer also has a discount code, they pay whichever price is lower.
  • Site-wide sales come first. While a sale on everything on the site is running, your own sales are paused, and you can't schedule one that overlaps it.
  • Sales lower your earnings too. You earn your share of what the buyer actually paid. See Earnings and payouts.
